My Rustic Furniture Gates Most of the gates are made from Oak and Ashor Chestnutif and when available. The majority are cleft - which is split down the grain thus giving a stronger and more flexible piece. These vary in sizes from small 600mm to approximately 3.5m wide. Heights also vary, but made to measure. Fencing Gate hurdles are made from cleft Ash. Cleft post and rail is made from oak. Sizes 2.1m or 2.8, rails. Posts have 2 or 3 notches (your choice). Arches Made from cleft Ash with Oak infill. These come in various sizes, to suit your garden.
Porches Porches are hand crafted from sustainable english oak and are all jointed and pegged, there are many different designs and they can be made to measure. Pictures are available in the gallery. Gazebos These are also made from Ash and Oak very similar to an arch but with a back and seat. Seating Usually unique as no two seats ever turn out identical - it is the manner of the wood, being rustic is the charm. I make smooth round bean bag style cedar seats, chunky oak stools which flat pack, bottom of the garden type log seats,stump seats, big throne seats, story telling chairs and side seats, swing seats made for one or two, mushroom and toadstool seats and tables - both of which are useful and beautiful. Tables Sizes to suit you and your garden, some are of Oak, others Ash or Maple. They can be round or as they come, like a slice of tree. These often turn out to be the most unusual and delightful pieces. Other items are Sculptures, Wigwams, Roots for ferneries, Pea sticks and Bean rods and loads of smaller items e.g. candle holders etc. All of my pieces are made from the timber from the Dorest Woodland in which I work.
